• What is a Transistor?

          Def:-  A transistor is a semiconductor device used to amplify or
                      switch electronic signals and electrical power.

                 

• Types of transistor: 

         NPN: npn is the type of transistor with layers arranged as Negative-Positive-                        Negative

• Structure of a Transistor      

       It consists of three parts:

       

■ Emitter: 

                               The emitter of  transistor is the top layer of the transistor that supplies                              electrons to the base.

         ■ Base :

                           the base is middel layer of the transistor and the base controls the flow of                               electrons  from emitter to the collector. 

          ■ Collector:

                            The collector in transistor is receive charge from emitter.
